I was glueing old newspapers to a tomato box with mixture of glue and water and noticed some death notices from Pulaski, Tn., and thought I would contribute the transcriptions to your site, since they are now glued to a tomato box. (Don't know what I was thinking ! ! ) * * * * * * * * * * * * March 8, 1928 NASHVILLE TENNESSEAN J.H. HAZELWOOD (special to The Tennessean) Pulaski, Tenn., March 7 - J. H. Hazelwood, 76, died at his home at Aspen Hill. His wife died just a few months ago. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. T.H. Porter, and two sons, Alonzo of Aspen Hill and Avery of Nashville. * * * * * * * March 8, 1929 NASHVILLE TENNESSEAN MRS. SUSIE RICHARDSON (Special to the Tennessean) Pulaski, Tenn., March 7.- Mrs. Susie Richardson, wife of B.L. Richardson, died of tuberculosis here. The body was taken to Culleoka, her former home for interment. Mrs. Richardson, who was 86, was the mother of five children. * * * * * * * * * * * I still have more newspapers to go thru now that they are not all glue to the tomatoe box. 1924-1930 These papers were given to me some years ago at a family reunion. They came out of the Leander Bruce Cooper farm in Lewis Co. He was the son of Col. Robert Melville Cooper and brother to James Carlise Cooper who was in the Civil War with Forrester.
