My Burnett families lived in Marion and Grainger Counties, TN and are thought to connect to the John Burnett who settled very early in Essex Co., VA from Scotland. My brother has had his DNA tested through the Burnett DNA Project and I would like to encourage other male Burnetts from the John Burnett line of Essex Co., VA to also join the Burnett group.
