I did a search for you in the Greene County Tenn. Cemeteries records and I did not find your Samuel. He may be in a unmarked grave. Here is what I did find.
John M. Overhulser - Co. A. 12th Tenn Cal.
w- Kerenhappuch - 7/29/1828 -10/31/1889 buried at OLD WOOLSEY near Mt. View Church

G. Overholcor 1807 - 1882 buried at Mt Tabor Methodist

William Ruble Overholser 1858 - 1947
w - N. Catherine Jones 1860 - 1940
John Calvin Overholser 1883 - 1936
w - Bonnie Harrison 1884 - 1954
s - James W. 1915 - 1916
