What you said is all correct. THE Royal Phillips that was married to Jane Bacon died on 14 Dec 1848 in Washington Co., TN per his military records. Jane (Bacon) Phillips died 10 Jul 1839 in Greene Co., TN. The children you mentioned were theirs. He had brothers John & Charles Phillips. I'm not sure what your question is.
I think you may have him mixed up with Royal Phillips who married Elizabeth Morelock. That Royal died 26 Oct 1882 in Greene Co., TN and his wife Elizabeth died 4 Feb 1903 in Greene Co., TN. Those children were not his.
