My Grandfather, Thomas Ward married Lanora Drake in Tracy City, Grundy County, Tennessee, May 13, 1882.
Thomas was the son of Henry E. Ward and Margaret Jarrett of Warren County, Tennessee.
Who were the parents of Lanora Drake?
According to family tradition, Lanora Drake Ward died of complications of childbirth May 1, 1893. Location: unknown.
At her death, Lanora left four young sons: Arthur Lee Ward b. 1885, Tennessee, d. 1956, New Mexico; Oscar Levator Ward b. August 1, 1887, Hunt Co., Texas, or Tennessee, d. May 31, 1970, Lamesa, Dawson County, Texas; Fred Walter Ward b.
February 12, 1889, Tennessee, d. August 21, 1942, Jones County, Texas; Wesley E. Ward b. March 7, 1891, Dunlap, Sequatchie County, Tennessee, d. January 30, 1963, Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas.
