The obituary for Jacob A. JACOMET appeared in the Chattanooga Times on December 11, 1911. The one for Mena Frances JACOMET appeared in the same paper on December 08, 1956.

Death certificates for both should be readily available, assuming that both died in Tennessee.

Mena appears in the 1920 census in Hamilton County, and should be somewhere in the 1930 census.

The 1900 census is hard to read online because of damaged copy. However, the Soundex card may be much easier to read and could provide significant information.

The Chattanooga City Directories for the period should list Jacob and, later, his widow.

If you are interested in getting copies of any of this material, you can contact me through:

http://www.raogk.org/tennesse2.htm

and I can explain the procedure.

Good luck!
