Looking for information on Henry Crews/Cruse. He was born about 1836 in Hamilton Co., Tn. He enlisted in the Civil War Aug. 24,1861 at Camp Cummings, Knoxville, Tn. and served until May 3, 1865, was paroled at Charlotte, N.C..
He served in the 5th Cav (McKenzie's) under Capt. John F. Whites Indt. Co., East Tennesse Cavalry, Co. F, 1st. Regt. Tn. Cav., Co. A, 2nd. Battn., Tn. Cav. and Co. A, 5th Regt., Tn. Cav.. I am trying to find out who his family was, if he was married and if there were any children. Thank you. Linda from Texas
