Roberts family of Falling Water-Roberts Mill area mid 1800s

Looking for any information on the ROBERTS living near their VANDERGRIFF uncles and cousins that are listed in the 1840+ census in the Falling Water - Chickamauga Creek - Roberts Mill - Walden Ridge area. I can 99% identify most ROBERTS from the 1840 census, but there are a few "extras" I am not able to prove that should be related.

Jacob and William ROBERTS are brothers, sons of William ROBERTS and Ann VANDERGRIFF, some of Jacob's sons are also listed. I can't find the elder William on the census, he applied for a Rev. War pension there in 1832.The elder William ROBERTS, sons Jacob, William and other related families moved to SW Missouri by 1841.

The following are unknown to me: Joseph ROBERTS next to Jacob ROBERTS and David BUNCH in 1840 is unknown. The "H" ROBERTS listed earlier on the same page might be Ninion/Ninyon ROBERTS - see 1830 Anderson Co., and 1850 Hamilton Co. with sons Emerson and Moses. Lavinia ROBERTS (apparent widow of Anderson ROBERTS listed elsewhere in the county in 1860) is listed next to Emerson ROBERTS and VANDERGRIFFs in 1870. There is a James/Jesse ROBERTS in 1830 in same area.

Thanks for any information - Dan
