My grandmother was Daisy Estelle Parkey who married Joseph Earl Zehner, Sr. and they had 7 children.
Daisy's father was James K. Polk Parkey (b. June 2, 1879, Hancock County, Tennessee) who married Mary Jane O'Grady and had 6 children.
James' father was John P. Parkey (b. 1856 Tennessee) who married Elizabeth Harris and had 8 children.
John's father was David Parkey who married Mary (?) with whom he had 7 children and then married second wife Margaret (maybe be Woods or Wood).
Almost all of this information came from my Granddad Zehner and/or his Bible or my Dad. I wish I had been wise enough and asked more questions when I had the chances - now they're gone.
I'm stuck. Any help or information will be greatly appreciated and is much needed.
