"Grandpa Charlie said his father's first name was Tabis/Tibas ..."
I wonder if he meant Tivis Collins? My grandfather, Burl Mullins, who also moved from Hancock Co to BSG, had an uncle named Tivis Collins, who was supposedly the brother of his mother, Mary Collins (or Bell). There was also said to be a sister named Drucillia, does any of that sound familier? My Mullinses were associated with the Roberts family in Blackwater.
