The father of Charles Edward Anderson, Miles Edward Anderson, married Elizabeth Hannah Statler 24 Oct, 1867, Hardeman County TN. I believe he died there in 1884. His wife, as "Bettie" Anderson applied for a Civil War widow's penion, based upon Miles' Confederate service. I see a Miles E. Anderson serving in Gore's TN Cavalry (13th and 14th Reg't), so assume it is him, but have sent to federal archives for Bettie's pension application to find out for sure.
