No prob. about the name. OK..I checked the 1850 census for all Foster families in Hardeman county. Part of the problem is that I don't have a complete listing of Lott's children's names. I think he had 4 sons and 1 daughter. I know that my Bryant is one of his sons. I know that one of the other sons is Amos. Both of them are living in Hardeman county with their families in 1850 (actually Lott is living with Bryant). So...that leaves: 1. Isaah (which is your line) and family 2. William B. and his family 3. A.W...this listing has a strange mix of people. AW is 28, Mary is 63, Nancy is 40 So...my educated guess is that Isaah and William are the other 2 sons. I'm sure Lott's daughter is living in the area somewhere, but without knowing her name or who she married, it could be any number of families. A couple interesting things...William has a son named Kincheon..which is a surname that was closely connected to another branch of my family. So, I think it's likely that maybe mom (Ann) maiden name was Kincheon. What do you think about Isaah and Wm. being the other 2 sons of Lott? I think it's highly likely. These are the only Foster families in Hardeman county. I just don't know how the AW household fits in. Notify Administrator about this message?
