They house a lot of material on county history as well as genealogy. They should be able to help you. If you click on "local history" at the top of the page, you'll get some photos. Click on the one that has "other historic sites" and you'll see some photos of sites in Hornsby. One of them sure looks like an old school. I'm not saying this is HES, don't know, the photo is untitled. Anyway, this might be a place to start. Also, there is a book which was published by the Hardeman County Historical Commission in 1979 titled: "Hardeman County Historical Sketches". Most decent size genealogy libraries have it (at least all the ones I've been to) and it is full of old group, church, school photos, etc. You might try to get your hands on it.
