Does anyone know the parents of Jefferson C. Rogers, who was born somewhere in TN in 1820. In 1850 he was in Bledsoe Co., TN, with his wife, Nancy Adaline Carder Rogers, and their three sons, James M., 2, and 2 1/2-month-old twins David F. and Ephraim Hicks Rogers. Ephraim Hicks (Red) Rogers was my grandfather. JC lived later in Taylorsville, Wilson Co., TN, where he died in 1906. Any help on this 25-year-old brick wall would be greatly appreciated. My DNA test indicates I descend from the line of Doswell (Dauswell?) Rogers.
