The 1830 US Census of Hardeman County lists the following persons surnamed Jones:
1) Jesse R. Jones (probably my ancestor, born about 1788 in SC, married Hannah Pomeroy Killough). His ancestry is unknown.
2) Samuel A. Jones (next door to Jesse R. Jones)
3) Jesse Jones (several households away from the above two)
Does anyone have any information about a possible relationship among Samuel A. Jones and Jesse Jones and Jesse R. Jones?
