That is great for such a valuable research source.
I have been following all the recent POLK messages here on POLK GENFORUM and had thought to post a link for all the POLK who lived and died here in Hardeman Co TN. Most of the current searchers there seem to fail to research the folks in Hardeman County who came from Mecklenburg area in the early half of the nineteenth century. Many surnames here who were allied with the Knox and Polk folks back then.
Thanks again, Bev, maybe this will spark some activity on this board. Maybe more folks will post for whom they are searching. The cemetery posts are such a marvelous reference now that all the census are more available.
