PICTURES OF JOHN BACKUS BACHUSS BACCUS

I am hoping to contact someone with history of John Baccus listed first in 1860 Hardin Co Tn census in the Lowryville/Hubbertville area age 54 b Delaware wife Rebecca Angeline (Marshall from family members) age 29 b Arkansas occupation Mechanic...son Jehu (John) age 12 b 1848 and Roxsillan age 10..Should be in 1850 census with John as child somewhere..

and judging his age, he may have been married before and she died and this Jehu could also have died or been left with family members...

Family gossip states John b Pa and his father Delaware and his father Ireland..later census shows John b Pa and father Delaware but nothing ties us to Ireland..

have more info if anyone wants to share..have found John and Rebecca in Hardin Co in 1860,1870,1880 and the most common names are John and Joseph on down thru the family..

My line is John Laurence Bachuss b 1890 b Hardin Co Tn son of Joseph B ? Baccus and by 1900 they had moved to Tishomingo Cty Ms. There are still Bachus in Hardin County now who are related to this line..

have picture of Joseph B ? Baccus and picture of John Backus taken in Mo..trying to find a Mo. connection since there is 2 young men and a child in this picture..the boys have rifles and moonshine jugs and banjos with them.. beah8@bellsouth.net
