Alfred C. and Pearl Layton of Hardin County, TN

I am looking for the maiden name of Pearl who married Alfred C. Layton about 1917. They had children Charley, Eugene, Beatrice and Mary Ellen.
Pearl is said to be a first cousin to Ella Meeks who married Oliver Willcutt and Miley Meeks who married Ella Boggs. Ella and Miley's mother was Mollie Brown Meeks.
I'm hoping that by knowing Pearl's maiden name, I can find more about Mollie Brown Meeks' ancestry.
I will appreciate any and all information about the Layton/Meeks/Brown connection.
