I am searching for information re: Shadrack Monk born 1808 Hawkins County, Tennessee. Most genealogies list him as a son of John Monk and Nancy Rogers, but some omit his name from the list of John/Nancy's children. Shadrack Monk oved to Lawrence/Scioto Counties, Ohio. Also, searching for information on the genealogy of his wife, Sarah Elizabeth Beesit, whose father may have been David Beesit listed in the 1830 census for Hawkins County, Tenn.
