Am searching for the ancestry of Sarah Elizabeth Beeset born abt. 1811 in Hawkins County Tennesse and married Shadrack (Shady) Monk born 1808 in Hawkins County, Tenn. Her father may be David Beeset who is listed in the 1830 Hawkins County census. He is listed as having 4 daughters. He was probably born between 1760 and 1770. Sarah and Shadrack Monk moved to Lawrence County, Ohio where a daughter, Lucinda Monk was born. Lucinda married Joseph H. Workman from then Fayette (now Raleigh) County, VA/WVA. His parents were Moses and Elizabeth Scarbrough Workman. Any help much appreciated.
