I saw that someone had already answered the question concerning the marriage issue. I looked in the Hawkins County Death Records 1914 - 1925 and found several children listed with the mother named Nancy Light and the father as Sam Morelock. All of the children are listed with the last name Light. Floyd Light d. June 9, 1922 his age listed as abt 53 buried in Morrison Cemetery.
Mary Ellen Light d. July 27, 1922, her age listed as abt. 60.
Samuel H. Light d. October 23, 1918 ageabt 60 years, mother listed as Nancy Light, no father lsited.
This may not relate but I thought that I would send it anyhow in the event it might tie in to your research.
