No, there were a number of Hawkins County Lights living near William Tallant that had a son in the 10-15 age range, including Vachel, William, and James, as well as Mary in Greene County, but you really want one in the 15-20 range to match up with the 1850 Scott County census. That is why I mentioned one possible source of an age discrepancy. Another possibility is that the enumerator simply put the mark in the wrong column--a very common error.
