He was the son of Vachel from Sullivan County. There was also a Jonathan Light from Washington County. So, I think that you have lots of options for your Jesse. All of these Lights were apparently related. One other possibility is that Jesse was the son of a Light widow who remarried before 1840, and that is why you can't find a connection. It is too bad that he died before death certificates were required. Notify Administrator about this message?
