Hello,
I am trying to find information on some member of my family who lived in Brownsville TN. My great grandmother was named Emma JONES. While African American in descent she knew she had Caucasian kin out there.
She married Arthur Boyd, who was also African American. I have recently learned he had a child or children (possibly a daughter) in the Brownsville/Haywood County area, by another woman.
Are there any Boyd's or Jones out there that might know anything about this and the family's genealogy and would be willing to share information and/or stories? Because of my great grandfather's "scandal" many member of my family are tight lipped.
