I'm looking for any info on a Mary Ann Stanfield. (b. abt 1830 ? d. before 1876 ?)
The death certificate of my g granduncle Thomas Perry (b. March 1862 or '63 TN.) of Crockett CO. TN. has his mother listed as Mary Ann Stanfield born in Haywood County TN. Father is listed as Jack Perry.
This is the only reference I have seen to the person who may be my gg grandmother.
James Henry Perry (brother of Thomas b. TN abt. 1868 d TN. 1953) my g grandfather, on his death certificate has father as James Jackson Perry & mother as unknown.
James Jackson Perry remarried in Crockett County in 1876. He can only be found on the 1880 Crockett Census Dist. 2 as J.J. Perry with 2nd wife Lizzie. I'm not sure what happened to Mary Ann Stanfield.
I see a James & Mary Perry in the Shirly household Dist. 6 on the 1860 census. I wonder if this could be my gg grandparents.
Any info on the Stanfields of Haywood Co. would be appreciated, as would a marriage record for James Perry & Mary Ann Stanfield.
