I am trying to contact a male Low/Lowe family member who would be willing to participate in a DNA test. There should be many Low men in Henry County who descend from Palin Low and Mary Liz Sanders Low who came from Bedford County, TN. When Palin Low died around 1900, the rest of the family, 10 sons, 2 daughters, and mother moved to Henry County. Their descendants have held annual Low family reunions the first Sunday in August for years.

We think it is possible now, after years and years of working on it, to connect these Lows to the proper pre-1800 ancestor in Spartanburg County, SC and then to older generations of Lows/Lowes who were Flemish.
