Anyone doing research on the Henry Co. Burton and Finley lines? I'm specifically looking for info on John and Mary Ann, James A. and Louisa F., and John T. and Ida R., all last name Burton. I'm also exploring the Finley lines.
James A. Burton married Louisa (Louiza?) Finley in 1851 (Henry Co.) Louisa was the daughter of Joshua and Lucy Finley (don't know when or where they married). Two of their daughters married a Powers and a Willoughby. Joshua was the son of Thomas J. and Mary Reeder Finley (from South Carolina) and brother of Austin. (Would like to know more about them also.)
John T. Burton, who married Ida Robinson in 1888 (Henry Co), is the only child of James and Louisa (that I know of). If anyone has anything other than census or later marriage records, I'd love to hear from you. Looking specifically for cemetery and church records, wills, deeds, estate settlements, early marriage records, etc.
