Hi,

My MOODY family was in Wilson Co., TN, that of John R. MOODY. He had a son Timothy M. Moody, but that is not the one of your interest. I mention this because John R. MOODY had two brothers who lived in Henry County, those being Isaac Newton MOODY and Elijah W. MOODY, both of whom also had sons named Timothy.

I have not researched much of the descendants of Isaac or Elijah. According to descendants, Isaac's son was Timothy S.? MOODY who was born about 1834 and the one who married Mary M. KING. Elijah's son Timothy they list as Timothy B. Moody born 9 Feb. 1838 [birth date from Elijah W. Moody family Bible in source #10 on my page below]. They list that this Timothy served under Gen. Forrest and died 29 Mar. 1862 at Holly Springs Mississippi, age 24 and was probably a member of the 46th Regiment TN Infantry. No record of a marriage.
