I am looking for information on the Grimes family of Tennesse, specifically Alice E. Grimes who married Stephen E. Carothers. Their first three children were born in TN. According to data on the 1880 census for Collin County, Texas, Alice was born about 1850. Her father came from Alabama and her mother from North Carolina. I believe the family lived in Hickman County, TN. Alice would be my great-grandmother so any information about her and her family would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
