William McClanahan & Manerva McCollum, Hickman County TN

William was born near Centreville, Hickman County, on 28 Dec 1828. He died in Hickman County on 2 January 1908. He m. Manerva Jane McCollum, 21 January 1851 at Beaverdam, Hickman County TN by Miles Patten, J.P.        
Manerva was born near Centreville on 13 July 1830. She died 8 October 1909 and was buried near Coble in Hickman County. Her son, S.C., cared for her for the last few years of her life. She was the sister of James E. McCollum who lived in Lewis County TN in 1908.
They had six children:
1. Mary b. 24 Nov 1854
2. W.P. b. 17 Aug 1862
3. S.C. b. 27 Oct 1865
4. Jennie, b. 28 Sept 1867
5. O.C. b. 13 Jan 1870
6. D.M. b. 27 April 1873
