I see in the Hickman county Historical book an article about Richrd W. Blackwell. He would be the brother of my gg grandfather John Hamilton Blackwell who married Sarah Jane Powell. My gg grandparent's lived in Hickman County and then migrated to Franklin County, Arkansas. Richard and John are the children of Joseph Blackwell and Mary "Polly" Wilkins who is the daughter of Clement and Clarissa Dicker Wilkins. This relationship is proved through a deed signed by Mary "Polly" Wilkins and on record in Hickman County. I believe my Sarah Jane Powell was the daughter of Seborn Powell, possible connection in Hickman County. I notice the Blackwells of Hickman County married into the Pinkerton family. My Uncle Jesse Owens married Alice Pinkerton so I have several connections to that family. I would love to hear from Richard's descendants. I have lots to share on the Blackwell family whose immigrant ancestor was Robert Blackwell of York, Virginia.
