Hi folks,
I've been searching for my Scott ancestors for over 10 years now. My brickwall, my g-g-grandfather may be close to crumbling down, as I have recently found some new promising information.
I'm seeking any information about Samuel Scott b. 1807 in Hickman County.
Wife of Samuel Scott was possibly Minerva, Merena, Merina,or Mivena b, 1810.
Samuel was the son of John Scott b. Halifax County, Virginia.
I have only been able to locate Samuel and his family in Hickman County in 1850.

Does anyone recognize this family? It is possible that the James Scott age 20 in the 1850 census is my great great grandfather.
