Searching for any information on John N. JENKINS, who is shown on the 1840 Humphreys Co., District 1, TN census. His name was actually spelled JINKINS on the census. He was between 30-40 years old, had a son under 5, a daughter under 5 and spouse 30-40.
On the 1840 Humphreys, District 4 census there is also a J. JINKINS, 20-30 years old, 2 males 40-50, 1 female 20-30 and 1 female 30-40.
I am trying to see if these JENKINS connect with Sarah Evelyn JENKINS, b. 1832 in either Humphreys or Perry Co., TN who married William George RIGGS.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
