Am looking for information on John W. CUFF, b. abt 1797 in SC and married 11 JUL 1820 (Rutherford Cty TN) to Susannah BAKER b bet 1800/1810. After their marriage, this couple moved to HUMPHREY CTY, TN...have them on a 1830, 1840, 1850, 1860 and 1870 US Census Reports. Think Susannah died earlier...probably bet1840-1850. Would like to know when she died and where she is buried. In 1870, John W. Cuff was 73 yrs old...would like to know when he died and where he is buried. Also anything about his family...did he remarry...there seems to be children of ages that don't quite fit in on some of these census reports. With that many years living in the same county, there just has to some more information on these people. Would appreciate any info that you are willing to share.
