I am continuing to look for any info on the family of WILLIAM DOWNS JAMISON b abt 1800 in Montgomery Co., Tn. His parents are thought to have been WILLIAM CALDWELL and JANE DOUGLAS DOWNS JAMISON. Downs Jamison m. SARAH (SALLY) ANDERSON on 19 April 1829 in Trigg Co., Ky. They had eight known children named ARABELLA, MARY, MARGARET, GUSTAVUS, ELIZABETH, ORVAL, WILLIAM, and LAURA JAMISON. The family was located on 1830 Humphreys Co., Tn. census. They were in Dickson Co. in 1840. Downs died abt 1847. Sarah Anderson Jamison is then found on 1850, 1860, and 1870 Humphreys Co. census. She is in Houston Co. in 1880. Any info or ties to this family would be greatly appreciated.
