Johnson/Taylor/Edney

Margaret Johnson was born 1839. In 1850 she was living in Dickson Co. with her father/mother Milberry Johnson. In 1860 Margaret is living in Perry Co with S A Spicer and family. In 1870 she is living with her sister Cornelia Johnson and her name is Margaret Taylor. She has a daughter Minerva Taylor b.1863 and a son Thomas L. Taylor b. 1867. Minerva marries ED Edney and they have two sons, Ernest Edmond Edney and Porter Edney. Who is the father of these two children. Was he killed in the Civil War? The court house burned so there is no record of a marriage. The name Porter is identified with some Taylor Families, but I can't find her husband. Minerva dies very young. Later Ed Edney re-marries. Any help with either the Johnson, or Taylor Family would be appreciated. I think Milberry Johnson is a male, but then in another census he is listed as femaie.
