I'm searching for the father of my 3rd great grandfather, Andrew Jackson b abt 1833 d 12-31-1862 at Battle of Parkers Crossroads. He was married to Martha Hawkins after the census was taken in 1850. On the 1850 census Andrew age 17 is in HH of Sally Jackson age 38 (mother?) with James age 14, John J age 10, Elisabeth age 7, Sally age 5. Assuming that the father died before the 1850 census their are six posibilities from the 1840 Jackson Co TN census that don't show up in 1850.
Andrew; Amos; Ezeriah; Isaia; John; William.
Any info that would prove or disprove anyone would be greatly appreciated.
