Looking for info re James C. Strode's first marriage to Mary Polly Young--date, place, date of her death, children's birth dates.
Does anyone know James's parents or siblings or where in South Carolina he may have been born? I have detailed info on his son, Henry's, family but am looking for what happened to his daughter, Elizabeth--born ca 1829 or 1830.
Who did she marry? Where did she live? When did she die?
I do not have the dates of James's birth or death, nor where he is buried. Do not not have that info for Mary Polly either. The census shows James as being born in South Carolina, but I have no idea when the family came to Kentucky or Tennessee--what was James's connection to the Monroe County, Kentucky Strodes?
Any new info on this family would be greatly appreciated.
