Hit a brick wall looking for the parents of Oliver Perry Martin, b. 1829 in either TN or AL, married in 1847 to Polly A. Appears on the Jackson Co. TN census 1850, 1860 and 1900. Children Nancy, Dorcas, Mary, Joseph, Rachel, Lucretia, Perry, Preston and Ramsey. Testified in Jackson Co court in 1851. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
