I've found this name in my search, but I don't believe it to be the same person. Orleana Jane Copeland was my great-great grandmother and I believe she may have gone by the given name of "Jane." My great-grandmother, Margaret A. McDaniel, was born in Jefferson County, Mossy Creek, in 1856 or 1857. It is quite possible that Jane Copeland may have been married before she married Lewis McDaniel, but I believe she probably spent her life in Jefferson County, Tennessee. Margaret McDaniel's third husband was Reese (Rease) Godwin and their oldest daughter was named "Orleana or Orlena Rachel Godwin. She was named for her grandmothers. Reese Godwin's mother's name was Rachel Bowen Godwin and the Godwin family was from Grainger County.
