Hi Meryle,
Thanks so much. It's possible I have some incorrect information too. Grandmother died in 1909 in childbirth and I have been looking for her gravesite. There is no death record that I can find, and I believe she was buried in a Proffitt graveyard. I was told that it was in Shouns, but don't know for sure. Hope to find some info before we get back there this summer.
