I have just found out that my grandmother, Swana Creel, witnessed a murder while living in the New Hope Community close to Ethridge, TN in 1922 or close to that date. She was threatened that if she testified she would be killed. After testifying, she and her family moved several times and it wasn't until the 1940's when someone got word to her that the man had died that she felt safe. All I know is that the man's last name was Robinson. I would like to know the details if anyone remembers or knows anything about this.
