Henson/Hinson and Barber of Perry, Lewis, Hickman County TN

I'm looking for any information on James Delefate Henson/Hinson b-Nov. 9 1854
Married (on Dec.19 1880) Mary Mandy "Mollie" Barber b-may 9, 1859

I knew from later census records that they were both born in TN as were their parents.
I found Mary Mandy and her siblings in Perry County TN with parents Abraham and Dolly.

By 1880 that Barber family had moved to Lavaca County Texas. That same year James Delefate was listed in Lavaca County Texas with another Barber family (the cousin of Mary's father Abraham) and James is listed as "Fate Henson--- cousin".

I have found that William Barber's parents were Enoch Barber and Susan Hinson (Daughter of George W. "Punky" Hinson and Elizabeth Upton). This is the only connection that I have to James Delefate Henson and the Hinson's of TN.

But I have hit a brick wall. Any help that you can give would be greatly appreciated. I have sent away for the marriage record of James Henson and Mary Barber in Lavaca County TX but haven't received it yet.
James' family may have been from Lewis, Hickman or Henderson County also.
Thanks,
Linda Henson
