Hello Melissa,

I am responding to your post for 2005 where you offered to get death records for people. If you are still doing this, I would appreciate getting the death certificate for my husband's great-grandfather. His name is Robert R. Holt b: abt. 1844 Tennessee (probably Lawrence County). He died May 31, 1918, in Hohenwald, Lewis, Tennessee. He is buried in the Swiss Cemetery, Lewis County, Tennessee. He was a veteran of the Civil War (Union)and was in Co C 2nd Regiment Tennessee Mounted Infantry. This marker is on his gravesite. The death date comes from the census for Veterans of Hardin County, Tennessee. I would be very grateful for this information. I have been researching for a long time and I live in Alabama and have not been able to travel due to health to do my research. Thanking you in advance for your efforts and time. If you need my address, I will email it to you privately.
Judith Carver Holt
