We can not tellwhere it was written-it is dated August 8,1855. He talks about the fact that he is building a new house & that a new railway is under construction near by"close to Jas. Reeds old spring" It could have been AH rather than AR that signed it.
As I said before,he talks about Horn Lake(there is one south of Memphis) He signed the letter "your brother".
I would think that if it was close to middle Tn that they would have visited.
