Hello, I am researching the Snow/McBay connection in my husband's family line. In 1850 Lincoln County, Tennessee (just across the Alabama/Tennessee line)you'll find Houston McBay head of household and in this residence is his daughter Elizabeth Snow, age 30 and her 4 Snow children, ages 13, 11, 9, and 7. Have not been able to connect any male Snow, dead or alive in that time frame to this Elizabeth Snow and her children, Sarah A., Phillip M.,Wiley or Margaret E.
Also have one Emily Catherine Snow (1852) daughter of Henry S. Snow and Martha Partain married John Jefferson Eslick (1842) John Jefferson Eslick is also of my McBay line, as his mother was Elizabeth McBay Snow's sister.
The Henry S. Snow's line is as follows: Henry S. Snow, Jr., Henry S. Snow, Bunion Snow.
