Robert Taylor and wife Sarah (Eslick?) moved from Lincoln Co., TN to Alabama between 1850 and 1860. Below is an obit for one of their children. Can you confirm that Sarah Eslick is the mother of Isaac E. Taylor? The Healdton Herald Healdton, Carter County, Oklahoma Thursday, 16, 1933 Pioneer Citizen Passes One of the most widely attended funerals in western Carter County was held Sunday afternoon at the Baptist Church at Pike City for I. E. TAYLOR, better known to his many friends as “DAD” TAYLOR who passed away at the family home near Fox. Rev. J. C. DODSON paid a touching tribute to the deceased, who had been a Christian 56 years, being a devoted member of the Baptist Church at the time of his passing. Mr. Taylor had resided in western Carter County, where he was well known, for 34 years and was an esteemed citizen of Pike City community. ISAAC EDWARD TAYLOR was born August 1, 1851 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. He died November 11, 1933. Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, one daughter and a number of other relatives. Funeral arrangements were made in charge of the Dale-Richeson Funeral Home with interment at Graham cemetery. The large concourse of friends attending the funeral and the beautiful floral offerings, bespoke the high esteem that he was held in. Attending the funeral from other places were Mr. and Mrs. STEPHEN KIRKPATRICK of Oklahoma and Mr. and Mrs. JOE KIRKPATRICK of Wilson. Isaac Edward Taylor married Mary Murphy (date or place?); their daughter Callie Donia/Donna Taylor was born December 1873 in Texas. Callie married William Moses Kirkpatrick April 18, 1888 at Paris, Lamar Co., Texas. Callie and W. M.’s son William/Bill married Eva Williams, granddaughter of G. W. H.
