Thanks. Another branch of the LCT Taylor folks were in Jefferson Co., OK, so this opens a few more possibilities with connections in Cooke and Montague counties in TX.

The closest match I have found so far is for a Mrs. Sarah Taylor, age 70, who died 1899 in Tarrant Co, TX at the home of her daughter Mrs. C. C. Defee (Diffee? DeFoe?).

There is not a good match on findagrave for aa Robert Taylor.

Robert and Sarah's son John R. Taylor had a son Robert Alfred Taylor who was born in 1894 in Jimtown, Chickasaw Nation, just north of Red River in present day Love Co., OK. Robert Alfred lived in the same area of Carter Co., OK where his son Lawrence "Boots" lived and worked until he retired and died at Kilgore, Texas. These folks had small families, only a few children surviving to adulthood.
