The best place to go is the Lincoln CO., Archives @ 1000-B West Washington St. Fayetteville. They are only open on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10 am to 2 pm. You can find probate records, all the old county records books etc. & loose files for surnames. 2nd is the LCT Genealogical Society just down the street from the Archives. That address is 1508 W. Washington St. in Fayetteville. They are only open on Sat & Sun from 1 pm to 5 pm but if you give one of the board members a call or email they will try to get someone to open for out of town researchers on a day you would be there. Email me for the phone # & email address.
