I am looking for the ancestry of James F. Meeks who was born about 1820 - 1823 probably in Lincoln County. He married first Polly Ann Hardin and second Sophia Jane Luna who was born in Lincoln County. The second marriage took place in 1846 in Marshall County, TN.
I tend to believe that James F. Meeks may have been related to Nacy Meeks who married Susan Gulley because they lived next door to each other in the 1850 Marshall County census.
Any help finding what Meeks family James is related to will be appreciated.
